Chika.Chat uses the information needed to run your account, support matching and public rooms, handle purchases, and keep the product safe.

Data

What we collect

We collect account basics like your email, username, and password hash, plus the profile details you choose to add during onboarding or later, such as your name, photo, bio, languages, beliefs, interests, and birthday-based age information. If you choose Google sign-in, we also receive the basic account details Google shares for login.

We also keep technical, session, and purchase-related records needed to run live matching, public rooms, gifts, subscriptions, coin purchases, security checks, and support.

Use

Why we use it

We use this information to run the app, personalize matching, support public rooms, process payments, prevent abuse, investigate reports, and fix product issues. This summary stays close to the current product flow instead of adding extra uses beyond matching, rooms, payments, security, and moderation.

Visibility

What other people can see

Other users may see the public parts of your profile, such as your username, photo, age, and the profile details you decide to share. They may also see your activity in live chats or rooms. Your email, password, and payment details are not shown to other users.

Control

Location and your controls

Nearby matching only uses location when you turn nearby mode on. You can also edit your profile, block users, report abuse, and use the contact page if you need help with a privacy question.
